This is not "butter" at all. Way too thin to be called that. Even refrigerated it's runny, so is not spreadable as it all runs right off the blade. It does taste good but I'm really disappointed with the texture.I love Once Again organic products! Very grateful the blanched almond butter is 100% and no additives!consistency is quite loose, but all in all I'm very happy!Once Again Nut Butters is ahead of the other Nut Butter Companies by providing a Blanch Almond option for it customers. Not only does this product taste great but more importantly, the skins of the almond are removed which makes it easier to digest so more people can enjoy this great benefits of Almond Butter. Once Again has shown that they care about the needs of their customers by providing such a great product as their Blanched Almond Butter.Blanched almond butter is easier to digest and to assimilate the nutrients because of less phytate. And well I just am not going to soak and blanch my own almonds and make almond butter out of it these days. So, this is a wonderful product for that reason alone. But, it is also incredibly delicioius!! It's like some kind of confection to me (but with no added sugar). Yum!This is one of the best raw almond butters on the market. And I tried almost all of them. I prefer blanched almond butters. They are white in color, smoother and sweeter than regular raw almond butter. There is nothing added, just pure almond without skin. I don't mind pay more for great quality food. Try it!! You will never go back to your regular grocery store nut butter.Taste great. It has a thin texture because it is grounded so finely. It is exactly like the almond butter my parents used when i was growing up in France. My parents were vegetarian and used that kind of almond butter to make almond milk or to spread on bread with apricot unsweetened jam. Delicious.For those people who are avoiding lectins, blanched almonds do not have lectin containing skin. I only gave 3 stars for ease of spreading because the product is more runny than spreadable. That being said I will continue to purchase this almond butter because it is raw and tastes wonderful.This almond butter is really runny and thin but it’s delicious. And a spoonful (or more) does wonders for a sour stomach! Regular almond butter gives me bad headaches, but I haven’t had any trouble with this balanced one at all. A new favorite for sure!
